During the creation of the Project Lifestyle Club I thought long and hard about the component parts that combine to create a successful online business and top of the list was to Think Successfully. Whether you choose to believe it or not, you are what you think about, your thoughts really do become things and whether you think you can or can’t you are absolutely right.

Thinking successfully is also a fundamental part of applying the Project Lifestyle Club Method to your business:-


Being an entrepreneur with lots of ideas is great but many of us fail to execute those ideas due to self doubt, lack of confidence in our abilities, excuses we tell ourselves (not enough time, money, support etc) but in reality every one of us has the ability to reprogram our minds for success, it’s just whether or not we choose to be self-disciplined enough to make reprogramming our minds part of our every day and whether we choose to see the importance of it. It tests you to be able to think successfully because you have to believe in the outcome before you can see it.

So here are 3 tips to help you get started.

1. Start Your Day Right And A Great Day Will Follow 

If you constantly start your day on other people’s terms, thoughts, agendas or dramas you are going to feel very unfulfilled at the end of the day and you will find it almost impossible to think successfully. The first hour of the day will set your entire day so you might want to rethink everything you do when you wake up. Creating a morning ritual will help you get more out of every day (even if it’s one you do on the train, in the car, or on the school run) I know how hectic family life in the morning can be,

If the first thing you do in the morning is check Facebook,Instagram, watch Breakfast TV, read the News or check your email – STOP!

FUEL your mind don’t FILL IT UP with “stuff.”

99% of the News is BAD News.

We are spoon fed doom and gloom from the moment we wake up to the time we go to sleep. It puts you in a state of fear and dread, and you will immediately be “reactive” to something that makes you concerned or worried.

Giving up listening to the News 99% of the time will make every day of your life feel more positive and free you up to be able to think successfully.

The world is not at all like the News reports it to be, it focuses on the negatives ONLY and if you want to operate from a POSITIVE state of mind every day, don’t feed it garbage first thing in the morning.


Use the moment you wake up to make your first decision.

Do you get up and get going or do you hit the snooze button?

Your mind is usually at it’s most alert in the morning so choose to use it not snooze it.

Instead of spending 30 minutes each morning filling your mind with useless “stuff” you could:-


  • Get in the journal habit and write out your goals every day.  (10 minutes)
  • Set your intentions for the day – what do you want to achieve today to forward your goals? (3 minutes)
  • Write down your 3 top priorities that MUST be done today. (3 minutes)
  • Plan your meals and workouts – find the time to make yourself a priority in your day. (5 minutes) 
  • Put everything into a schedule that you will follow and execute your schedule through the day. (5 minutes) 

2. Reprogram Your Mind For Success To Think Successfully

You will have heard every great thought leader, philosopher and motivational speaker of our time say things like:-


  • “You have to work harder on yourself than you do on your job” – Jim Rohn
  • “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” – Napoleon Hill
  • “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford


It’s whether you think it’s worth spending your time on it that matters.

The power of literally being able to program your mind with new thoughts is a powerful process that most of us dismiss as being “unbelievable, too hard or simply not worth investing time in doing.

How can listening to something be productive?

How can you reprogram your thinking when there is no tangible way of monitoring how or if it works?

A true story that happened the other day ….

I accidentally dropped something on my husband’s iphone the other day and cracked the screen. I immediately remembered my old phone was the same size and colour as his but it was an earlier model so he could use it for now until we replace the broken screen one.  So I charged up my old phone, switched it on and stared at the four digit code I needed to put in. 


My mind was a complete blank. I must have tapped that code into that phone thousands of times and I had no recollection of it whatsoever.


Because I have reprogrammed my mind by tapping in the new six digit unlock code so many times it has erased the old code and replaced it with the new one.

I had reprogrammed my mind!”

So if you reprogram your mind on something as small as a phone pin number, imagine what else I you can reprogram it to do!

Success is not an accident.

It comes from repeating successful days one after the other and the only way they can be formed into successful days is by reprogramming the way you think, forging new habits and thinking patterns and taking action towards reaching your goals every day.

You need to be on the right frequency of where you want to be, who you want your future self to be it’s using the Law of Vibration.

You need to elevate your thoughts and thinking to the level you want to be at FIRST only then will you operate your decisions, take actions of the right kind and truly believe in yourself.

You will only be able to reach your goals at their highest levels when you align your thoughts and actions to those required to reach them.

You need to decide you are going to reach that goal even if you don’t know how, it’s the decision that makes the difference.

3. Never Go To Bed The Same Person As You Woke Up – Grow! 

Evolution is your birthright – Groundhog days (or even worse Groundhog years) are absolutely no fun whatsoever. Create the change you want to see in your life.

Grow every day to start thinking more successfully!

  • Put new thoughts in your mind – positive ones.
  • Read a chapter in a book.
  • Listen to some training on a topic you want to master.
  • Learn a new motivational quote that makes you feel alive.
  • Set a new bigger goal.
  • Start a journal.
  • Listen to a Podcast.


ANYTHING that helps you be in a state of constantly evolving yourself into a better version of who you are.

You can tell the people in life that have made this one of their daily habits, people like Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor you can SEE IT, HEAR IT and be INSPIRED by their every word.

This is today’s wisdom and it is worth seeking out if you want a more peaceful, less stressful, more fulfilling lifestyle of your own design.

Start your day on a treadmill listening to You Tube Motivational Videos for a few months ad you will be amazed what happens in your life after 6 months.

5. Bonus Tip! 

Have you ever noticed that some of your best ideas come to you when you are driving?

Doing something that occupies your sub-conscious mind, like driving frees up your clear thinking conscious mind to release all sorts of great ideas. When these ideas come, capture them and write them down, one of them could be the best idea you have all year.

When you first learned to drive you found it difficult to make all the decisions and manoeuvres at the same time, but once you repeated it over and over again it became easy.

You automatically know how to drive a car, it’s an automated programmed mind response.

The most exciting thing about you and your future is that you have the ability to change it by reprogramming your mind for success.

And the even more exciting part is that it doesn’t matter what age you are, what abilities you have you just have to make the decision to do it and follow through.


  • Starting your day right and reprogramming your mind is vital to your success.
  • If you start you day on someone else’s agenda, you’ll lose a mistake with yours.
  • Dual up your time to fit this in even if it’s on your commute time to the office, or while you are at the gym.
  • Reprogram your mind to think more abundantly, more successfully.
  • Never go to bed the same person as you were when you woke up. Stay in a constant flow of evolution as you start to raise your self-belief, increase your skill set and move calmly and confidently towards your goals.
