As women, in general we tend to either be the type that takes care of all the household finances, budget like crazy and save every penny possible or we tend to have husbands, partners or life partners that take care of all that so “we” do not have to worry about any of it.

If you recognise yourself in either scenario then this book is a must read for you, it will open your eyes to the possibility of achieving your own independent financial freedom and empower you to not settle for anything less.

If you ask a group of 50 women “How many of you are underpaid right now and know it?” More than three quarters would raise their hand. Ask the same group “What are you going to do about it?” You will usually be hit by objection after objection as to why they settle for less than they are worth.

Smart Women Finish Rich is not a new book by David Bach but in the UK as I have said many times before our book stores are not as richly decorated with acres of space dedicated to personal development, personal finance or home business books and magazines as they are in the USA and Canada. So thank heavens for Amazon!

David Bach, the author of Smart Women Finish Rich and the Automatic Millionaire to name but two of his best selling books was recently a speaker at the CarbonCopyPro Master Marketing Event held in Las Vegas where an exciting new product line was revealed based around the Automatic Millionaire.

So with the holiday weekend, snow on the ground and a new grandson to cuddle, some time spent devouring the Smart Women Finish Rich content was time very well spent. It is a great book for organising your finances and planning ahead but I particularly liked one of the latest chapters added to the end of the book about the 12 Commandments of Attracting Greater Wealth.

David Bach hits the nail on the head with the #1 “Commandment” which is Don’t Accept Less Than Your Are Worth.

Women have a huge mindset challenge to overcome when it comes to putting themselves first, after all we are brought up to do the opposite, so when you challenge the notion that women may also therefore accept being paid far less than their male counterparts for the same job it is usually a point for heated discussion.

What I liked about Smart Women Finish Rich is the defining characteristics that show up throughout the book about being a “Smart, Financially Savvy Woman” and getting paid what you are worth is by far the most life changing of the characteristics.

If you adopt one thought in your business this week, it would be stop selling yourself short and refuse to accept anything less than you are worth.
