Well there I was checking into to a premium economy Virgin Atlantic flight from Gatwick, London and it was pouring with rain and thunder had just rolled overhead to herald the start of the predicted storms to hit the UK as we jetted off to the sunshine state of Nevada, USA.
Some of my UK team members and fellow business entrepreneurs are joining us for an awesome week of the next Wealth Conference followed by the Master Marketing Event at the amazing Paris Hotel on the famous Las Vegas strip.
Having a 10 hour flight time plus an eight hour time difference to deal with I was glad of an early day out at the Grand Canyon which is so relaxing it makes you horizontal being surrounded by such peaceful and surreal surroundings over 4,000 feet in the air, overlooking the Colorado river meandering below as we dine outside on Indian cuisine and feeling so grateful of the opportunity to be part of such an amazing set of people.
Las Vegas is simply an amazing party town, criss crossing the strip are glass bridges that transport you from the Egyptian styled Luxor Hotel, through to the fairy tale castle style of The Excalibur all the way through to the New York New York Hotel that dominates the skyline and beyond for six miles of wall to wall entertainment,
Deceptive in size, Las Vegas hotels are all resorts of the highest calibre in themselves, superb choices of restaurants and entertainment and of course the constant “ding ding ding ding” of the thousands and thousands of slots machines set to entice you to chance your luck while you are there.
The amazing thing when you understand internet marketing is that luck has nothing to do with success online, it is both scientific and mathematical. When you are part of the Premier Online Education program you realise that the “lottery mentality” is not required to achieve success. When you learn how to market effectively and create a sustained and consistent ROI (return on investment) you can literally write your own pay check each and every month that can only ever grow exponentially as your skills grow.
How different it is to see rows and rows of people chancing their luck on the next spin of the reels hoping three matching bars would appear to revel in the exuberant feeling that winning gives you versus the assured calm of knowing that by generating targeted leads online results will be sales and revenue for your business.
This industry is all about people and the most enjoyable part of my recent trip was meeting like minded people who were not only blown away by the events, which hit record attendance numbers despite the recession but as we all flew back home somehow there was a sense of privilege of having being part of a unique group of people assured that their own future and their families future was secure.
